History

History of the Indiana Fine Arts Academy

Founded in 2014 by Carolyn Lorenzoni, the Indiana Fine Arts Academy (IFAA) emerged from the East 91st Street Church music ministry, where she had been a dedicated program director and instructor until the program's discontinuation that year.

Ms. Lorenzoni established the IFAA to ensure that fellow teachers and their students could continue their musical journey together. She successfully facilitated a partnership with a new location, offering facilities for use by teachers and students, while also introducing at-home lessons to best serve the community.

Ty Galbraith, a former long-time student of Carolyn Lorenzoni, is an IFAA board member and the campus site director for the new Warsaw First United Methodist Church location as of June 2025.

The IFAA welcomes everyone, regardless of faith, in a comfortable learning environment.
